The method of meditation practiced

The origins of meditation

There are many meditation techniques, the method we teach at Paris Meditation comes from Asia, more specifically from South Korea . It has been taught around the world for over 30 years now.

The objective of this meditation

The goal of this meditation is to find our true nature which is covered by a set of images. We are thus frozen in false representations of reality. The goal is to free ourselves from these images in order to find deep joy .

The methodology

The meditation technique taught consists, following introspection, in "throwing away" the images accumulated throughout the life lived. "Throwing away" means letting go , freeing oneself, taking a step back from these images which are only our subjective representations.

About Paris Meditation

The Paris Meditation association supports the development of meditation in Paris and France through a program of guided meditations .The association also offers free introductory sessions and   different subscriptions, allowing access to quality education to as many people as possible.

Finally, we also organize training courses, intensive retreats during the week or at weekends as well as meditation courses and workshops for companies.

The history of the association

1996 - Corée du Sud

Woo Myung, le fondateur de cette méthode, publie son premier livre "Book of Wisdom"

2013 - Paris

Ouverture du 1er centre de méditation à Paris par 3 bénévoles ayant suivi les enseignements de Woo Myung 

2017 - Paris

Grâce au soutien de ses adhérents, l'association Paris Méditation s'installe au 28 rue Ginoux. 

2018 - Paris

Woo Myung à travers une série de séminaires, transmet les fondamentaux de cette méthode à un large public.

  1. You can register online.

  2. Payment is possible by credit card or transfer.

  3. Cancellation is possible up to 7 days before the start of the retreat . Beyond this deadline, the deposit is no longer refundable.

  4. A minimum of 8 participants is required for a retreat to take place. In the event that the retreat is cancelled by the organisers, it will be fully refunded.
